If Jones dies before he pays the Sandy Hook families, what happens?

Everything I can find about this judge online strenuously avoids any mention of political affiliation, but he’s a federal judge who was appointed in 2019. Do the math for yourself.

This is majorly messed up

The money is flowing.

Obviously the (right-wing leaning) judge got the word from above that the infowars stuff was supposed to go to another MAGAt org. so the righties can broadcast even more garbage during election seasons and can have TOTAL control of the airwaves

Every fucking time it seems like one of these degenerates might get what they deserve and something positive might result from their filth, some judge does some shit like this.

Obviously he doesn't care about what these families want, which is the whole point t.

FUCK!

Yeah. It’s fucking awful. No wonder trust is so goddamn low.

The Onion should set up a crowd sourcing plan to increase their bid. I'd be happy to send money their way to guarantee they get Infowars.

My guess is the judge was a MAGAt. I believe it's a requirement for the job in Texas.

Another one of those "Activist Judges" that the RWNJs complained about.

Asshole.

The biggest fear white men have in life is someone laughing at them. So no way was a white male led judicial system going to let this stand- them, being the butt of the joke? Inconceivable! We're so fucking broken.

So can The Onion or the plaintiffs appeal this decision?

Cakes We Like's avatar

In theory, could the Sandy Hook families make a joint offer to purchase Infowars for whatever The Onion is wiling to pay, plus the full amount owed to them by Alex Jones? That way there is a cash sum for the other creditors, and Infowars is then owned equally by the families Jones harassed for years, plus The Onion? Any profits generated by whatever The Onion was to do with the site could then be split between The Onion and the Sandy Hook families.

Yes, and then the debt could be forgiven for the families, kinda like when a Supreme Court justice purchases an RV.

How can you legally take back an accepted bid after accepting it? Oh right. The bad guys win again. I hate this movie!!

Every fucking time.

Think Lopez is trying to estimate the number of high-end luxury RVs he can fit in his driveway ?

Dang. I should have read down.
