So your point is the religious are no better than the non-religious? I whole-heartedly agree.

I wouldn't say we're perfect, though. But thanks anyway.

I agree, but I think that with Palin, much of the GOP wallowed in the fact that ignorance was a "good" and education "bad". She and many of the party at that time (and after) would use the word "intellectual" as an insult.

No, it was when Lincoln orated, "My friends and fellow citizens, I implore thee all to pray set your eyes on these newspapers depicting the improper behavior of my esteemed colleague's wife."

Misogyny is a really funny thing..... (it isn't a funny thing).

Naked walls are the only naked things about Trump that don't bother me.

I am well-versed in what you are experiencing. Some of it is herd mentality, some is childish rebelliousness, some is just FTW. Maybe, just maybe, if workers were treated like real human beings -- health/dental/vision care, paid leave, living wage, pension plans, college for their kids -- rather than as expendable Deltas, it would be different. There used to be these things called "unions" that tried to implement better conditions. But then this generation's parents and grandparents started voting against their own interests 40 years ago, and here we are.

Oh, I miss Sarah's antics. Where has she been? Did she OD or something? Is Barstool preggs again and Sarah's helping with the last one she popped out? Has Tragg (or whatever the fuck his name is) beat up another skank and Sarah's helping do damage control?

I grew up in Rockford IL which was a big union town. My grandfather was not union and his brother, my great-uncle Harry was in a union. They had exactly the same job at different shops. They both believed they had the best deal.

Probably about 50 years ago, unions got a bad rap in some sectors and, particularly in No IL there was a ton of graft and corruption in unions.

EDIT: I'm actually pro-union but just acknowledging that there have been issues with some unions, historically. Just like everything

Apparently, if you spell your name backwards, no one knows you are a vampire, at least in the black and white movie world.
