California heavyweight Barbara Boxer pulled no punches as she savagely pounded newcomer rival Carly Fiorina in a decision knockout filled with low blows and direct hits.
I watched that debate. A couple of times Ms. Fiorina said after 18 years in the Senate and 24 years in Washington, Sen. Boxer had only four bills with her name on them.
My answer would have been: "It's often astonishing how much you can accomlish if you aren't worried about claiming all the credit."
