Nope, he tried to "pimp" his "virgin" daughters, that sounds like a whoremaster to me, trying to hide that fact he was raping them. The author is obviously trying to make a disgusting swine the hero, by blaming the victims.

They have admitted that deliberate mistranslation, by some asshole with a grudge.

No it's all shyte, but that one is glaringly obvious, that he killed the mom, and buried her in a pit of lime, blaming it on "God" turning her into a "pillar of salt" which is one of the stupider, and more impossible, parts of the story. Leaving him free to continue molesting the poor girls. Many of the classical paintings from back in the days, show the girls one of which is obviously pregnant fleeing the city. Way before they are said to have boned him. So, my guess is there are different translations. The King James, is said to be the least accurate of the translations. The copy, of a copy, of many other versions, so to speak.

Normally, I don't support Barnes & Noble, but when they face Amazon or these scumbags, I'm all for them.

Not the only one. I have always found that story to be rather, shall we say, *disturbing*

On the other hand, I don't know what your problem is with turning water into wine. That's some shit worth believing in!! 😜
