Ben Carson: Gay-Hating Bills Are Only Necessary Because Liberals Are So Mean To Jesus
After the last time Dr. Ben Carson sputtered some words about The Gay and how it is a choice because PRISON SEX, and also something about the Constitution he must have read on a bumper sticker at a Tea Party rally, you'd think he might want to not talk about The Gay anymore. In fact, he promised he wasn't going to talk about The Gay, or at least The Gay Marriage, because of how the mean "liberal press" played that out-of-context video of him saying those words.
And yet, the good doctor has some "thoughts" on Indiana's anti-gay bill, signed into law last week by dumber-than-Jan-Brewer Gov. Mike Pence. He's not saying that Indiana's anti-gay bill is about discriminating against The Gay (yes it is), so technically Dr. Carson is not breaking his vow to shut up about that. Like any great leader, he's simply giving voice to the voiceless:
“It is absolutely vital that we do all we can to allow Americans to practice their religious ways, while simultaneously ensuring that no one’s beliefs infringe upon those of others. We should also serve as champions of freedom of religion throughout the world,” Carson tells Breitbart News. [...]
“As Americans, we have an obligation to denounce these acts of persecution. For when we stand up to such intolerance, we are defending the root of our freedom, both at home and abroad,” he said.
Good job, Dr. Carson, you still didn't say "gay" or "prison sex" or anything like that! You didn't think Dr. Carson was standing up for The Gay, did you? Also not mentioned: Not-Christians, or any other heathens against whom any for-profit business can now discriminate -- thanks, Indiana! -- because Sincerely Religious Business People read some bumper stickers that said Jesus was cool with that too.
Dr. Carson knows, because he is a doctor and expert on all things, that if there is one class in America today who are oppressed and persecuted, whose freedom is under constant attack, it is definitely the people whose savior's "birthday" is recognized as a federal holiday.
Thank the lord those remaining fearful few have a friend in Ben Carson, brave enough to stand up for the florists and bakers and candlestick makers who hate homos, for Jesus.Someoneshould. Before the intolerant non-believers completely take over, and it's too late.
