Fools, all of 'em The Republican primary is pathetic again. Donald Trump is sailing toward the nomination, a truth that horrifies all sane people. But Ted Cruz and John Kasich have come up with a plan to stop him, hooray! It won't work, though. (Hooray?) You see, in a few of the upcoming primary contests, the two campaigns have decided to work together like best pals, in order to stop Trump from reaching the magic 1,237 delegates he needs to be immediately crowned King of Republicans at the GOP convention:
It is adorable, how Kasich and Cruz imagine that anyone is paying attention to their campaigning, at this point. Bless their hearts. Or in Cruz's case, whatever approximates his heart.
The only rationale explanation for a Cruz/Kasich partnership is that one lost his mind and the other one lost his soul. It's up to you to figure out which is which--six of one/half dozen of the other.
At the time, it didn't get a lot of coverage, but I saw a piece on one of the news channels discussing what it would take to get on the ballot on all fifty states in time for the campaign. One of the conclusions was that a candidate would have had to have started long before the conventions.
Five Thirty Eight peg Drumpf as having a 54% chance of winning based on their polls plus analysis and a 77% chance based only on polls. HuffPost Pollster doesn't have enough polls to average, but the three April polls they list give Drumpf about 38% of the vote and Lyin' Ted 33%. It don't sound like it's gonna happen. When it is a campaign and media battle, other than a ground game fight, Drumpf does pretty well.
While I totally bone up like the ten year old boy I used to be over the dystopian GOP tea party thing, worries abound on the Clinton/Bern front. I voted for the Bern in WI primary more to send a message to the DNC to be more liberal, not to enable a bunch of millennials to bitch about closed primaries. Eyes on the prize, people. Kasich: Bad. Cruz: Disaster. Trump: Armageddon.
Gawd, Drumpf is really sticking it to Lyin' Ted and one-in-42 Kasich over this. Drumpf can see the goal line and is thinking one more push will get him there. Now, he's on message: these guys are weak pathetic clowns! And, he's right!
In someways, Drumpf is brilliant! Sound bites are him!
The same worry keeps me up at night. I am very worried that if Hillz gets the nomination, the Bernie people will stay home and we will be stuck with whatever disaster the GOPbaggers finally nominate.
I've been doing the same thing. It INFURIATES me when I see Bernie's people saying "I won't choose between the lesser of two evils, and I just won't vote for Clinton." Good luck with a president Cruz, dipshits. It's not like this isn't going to affect us all for the next 50 years when he appoints his dad, and two other psycho assholes who don't believe in separation of church and state, to the Supreme Court. Christ, I have no idea how people can be so fucking dumb.
I can't figure out how all the polls show Kasich BEATING Hillary in the general election. He can't even win his own primary against two fucking idiots.
These guys make the Three Stooges look brilliant ! Whats funny is they are for real ,not acting ! Though I could be wrong on that.
I think its powder stuff you mix with water (or booze) to drink and everybody gets the same crazy.

"Roger."

What a great day it would be if we never heard anything about or from ANY of these assholes again.

Jesus, I can't decide if I'd rather eat a shit sandwich, or have someone kick me in the head with a steel toed boot. Either way, America loses.
I'm not going to lie, his tweet about them being "sad" made me LOL. You have to admit that the guy is entertaining.
