Great piece! There are so many areas of "stuff" going on that I don't have the time or the heart to keep up on, but I've known Betsy was out to kill some good stuff in education. Last week I heard something I thought bizarre on NPR. It was first stated kids in poorer environments did less well in school. Than, and I'm not sure I've got it right, they talked about a study looking at how 'nurturing' mothers and family members were. My thoughts: they know lack of money is a problem, so they spend money seeing if more hugs and 'atta boys' made up for this?

Sounds like she's too busy turning water into shit. When you're described as "demonstrat(ing) an "unwillingness" or "inability" to follow basic law regarding how federal agencies function", you need to take a long hard look at your life and your choices.
