It's the one and only motivation he understands.

The trend of disparaging Kamala Harris is part and parcel of the idea that Biden needs all the help he can get to overcome his low popularity rating going into the 2024 election. Pundits who push this notion ignore the fact that a large number of the "disappointed in Biden" poll responses come from left-wingers like me who think he hasn't been progressive enough, but who would never consider voting for a GOP presidential candidate.

Harris has handled the job better than any VP I can remember. No reason at all to replace her

She's way less visible than Pence was, or Biden for that matter.

Right? I read for a long time before Disquis would let me register to join the snark -- but this place restored my faith in humanity about 7-8 years ago. Couldn't do without it, and more importantly, don't wanna! Glad you joined us. :)

VP Harris is what republicans consider to be a target rich environment. They love bashing black people and women and there’s no one they like bashing more than a black woman. They’re still out there calling Michelle Obama “Michael” because they think that’s hilarious.

Considering Mike Pence spent four years playing “Weekend at Bernie’s” if Bernie had been propped up to stare adoringly at Trump, I don’t think we should be taking their advice on what makes a good VP.

And that’s before we even consider that the first and only time Pence showed any spine, Trump sicked a violent mob to hang him.

I'd like every absurd idea they put over to be ridiculed. Not every one, bc that would take up too much of the atmosphere-- speaking of which this ridicule stream (such as lots of commentary of MTG and Santos and Pence) would help also to undermine terrible GOP policies too. Like, their readiness to enfeeble Medicare-- (how can that be-- since all their parents depend on it?) and their reluctance to invest in any climate mitigation or college loan forgiveness or preparation for the next covid wave. We should be educating states now about who died where. Anyway-- people like strongmen--esp. Republicans-- so the more ridicule the Democrats generate of these lame Red Staters, the better for sane policies and the better for our guys winning. And then we can get rid of those corrupt maps.

Nicky Haley. She couldn't possibly scare him. Nor interest him. Nor defy him. She'd never say to him what E Jean Carroll said, if he asked her to try on a teddy for him. I mean, she'd never say, "Try it on yourself." So he wouldn't be forced to suddenly shove her into the wall really hard and pull her tights down. So that's a plus.
