F#€& him and his performance outrage over a fabric symbol of patriotism. It’s precisely our freedom to express any feeling about this country- love, disgust, or any other feeling about this country, free from persecution or prosecution that makes us free. I’m grateful for many things about being fortunate enough to be born here, but the never-ending patriotic performance art by wingnuts is tedious.
What it looks like (to me) is the flag was indeed placed in a "vertical moving bin" to keep the flag upright, not falling over and dragging the floor. That would, unless I'm mistaken, be appropriate according to the Flag Code (I guess that's the flag "etiquette" mentioned). That isn't optimal, but for an indoor flag (without grommets or snap hooks on the pole) corners are cut during a move. I doubt any disrespect was intended.
He didn’t destroy it. He revealed it. If he hadn’t spent so much time shamelessly lying about everything and doubling down on his lies even when called out to his face, they wouldn’t think they could get away with it, too.
When they nominated Trump for their candidate, I think they did sign and seal their own destruction in the long run. But yeah - when they nominated him, they revealed who they are to the entire revolted world.Which may amount to the same thing.
I find that shit insulting as well. I have a book somewhere in this midden that explains just how this POW/MIA scam got started. There's also that fucking lie about how those hordes of dirty hippies lined up at airports so they could spit on the returning soldiers. I actually had a plumber at my house once said that it happened to him. I didn't tell him he was a goddam liar because he was a fair bit bigger than me and had a wrench in his hand, but we never hired him again.
They're on every public building around here - every fire department, every cop shop, post office, city hall, and courthouse. Even the local Thruway equipment depot has one. I'd have to look, but I'm sure that the local schools have them, as well as churches (ahem - thou shalt not bear false witness, amirite?) and malls and probably gas stations.
some years ago i decided to try making my own beer. The directions said a regular plastic bucket would work so I went and bought a brand new one. According to this clown if he wanted to bad mouth me he would say I'm using an old dirty wash bucket to make beer in. Some things can be used for different purposes as almost everyone who has moved has used whatever container suits the purpose. The beer wasn't that great but it did have some kick.
Indeed - it happily does!
His brain is at half-Mast (at most).
Honesty.

I would gladly share wash tub beer with you before I’d drink the finest small batch bourbon with this nimrod.

Please let me know when an apology has been issued.

Whose father killed Kennedy?
That’s not drool he left on the flag.

Agreed. Along with a few others like decency, courtesy, restraint, courage and honour. Particularly honour.
