Shit like this makes me feel not so bad about Trump getting slammed over how "strong" veterans don't get PTSD.

Clinton's right. Obamacare was the Republican healthcare reform proposition from the 90s, aka when Bill was pres-o-dent. It has its plusses, but the compromises made in its inception and litigation against it has resulted in a crazy system.Friend of mine is a small club owner and has had his and his wife's plans cancelled every year since the exchanges became available. This year it's because Aetna kicked up a fuss about the federal govt's rejection of the Humana-Aetna merger. One of the biggest providers just dropped a few million paying clients who just want to go to a doctor when they're sick. Giving a pool of nearly everyone to the insurance companies, including healthy young people who didn't bother with insurance beforehand, was not good enough for their bottom line.

Talkin' 'bout the polls. Lotta negatives out there. Are we enthusiastic about Hillary? No we are not. But, better than Trump, I guess.

But if the "real" President will be Bill, and he hates Obamacare, how is that an improvement? Why does Hillary let Bill override her platform? Or does she hate Obamacare, too? Will she be the real President, or will Bill be in charge? Why do I bother to be a Democrat? WTF?

'Bout ready to quit.

I don't qualify for a subsidy either. I chose the $700/mo plan for my family because everything else was high-premium catastrophic insurance. Even the "silver" plans didn't have ER co-pays. Medical emergency? Well good luck, run up that deductible!I don't think I've been to the doctor since 2013. I would hate to actually need regular care.

Bill does not look good. I would rather he stay home.

Okay, "I, One of the People"...

I do not think she's awesome. But she's adequate. Hooray?

I have no doubt that Bill thinks he will be in charge again. And Hillary feeds that notion by proclaiming that she will put Bill in charge of anything. As she has.

So, no, I don't speak for the entirety of the American people (obviously), I'm just a guy! But if Hillary has a vision for America in the 21st century, Bill Clinton is not the right spokesman. And yet, they persist.

Hey! I have an idea! How about Bill Clinton sits down, shuts up, and lets Hillary drive?

We, The People, have a hard enough time with Hillary already. But we are willing to hold our noses, because the alternative is Donald Trump. But every time Bill wants to tell us about how horrible the Obama legacy is, we are less inclined to vote for Hillary. The next time Bill Clinton complains about Barack Obama, I will probably abandon any idea of voting at all. Bill Clinton already had his turn. Now he thinks his wife will be elected and he will get to rule again.

The US Presidential election is just as fake as the Russian "election". The names on the ballot are not the people who will control your country and your lives.

"You people only live here! I RUN this place!"

She will be the "real" president, Bill doesn't hate Obamacare (duh), he certainly doesn't "override" her platform (smh), and I don't see why it's difficult to understand that a guy who was president for 8 years talks about issues like the wonky POTUS he was, because that's who he is.

Perhaps Bill is just older now and too flippant. Or perhaps he is the master of 11th dimensional chess. I prefer the latter. If what it has come down to this late in the season is courting the independents, and some of those independents do not like Obamacare (or Obama), does it hurt Hillary with those voters to have her HUSBAND say something negative about Obamacare? I don't think it does. Because those voters really have to believe she's closer to her husband than that black man she worked for, right?

sry but they are really reaching on this. Big Dawg has been giving this stump speech pretty much since April/May. He went into wonksplain overdrive, which he has a way of doing. If you've ever been to a Bill rally, you expect it to be heavy on the wonkery. That's why people go to see Bill, to get their Wonkjones on. the media just now is noticing because they need to keep a horserace going in Ohio. nothing to see here.

Everything said, though, perhaps this can finally lead to a discussion on the shortcomings of an entirely privatized healthcare system, and how best to address the problems facing us instead of HAHAHAHAHAHAHA sorry couldn't keep a straight face for that one folks...

You have not been reading too much. Or listening to the entire speech. Bill starts off mentioning the people that have benefited from the ACA. He points out a problem with affordability for a certain group. He does not call for repealing anything. He calls for improving a law. In fact, he mentions a method to improve it. Unlike the GOP, who can only talk about repealing it entirely, to be replaced when they figure out what to do next. Which will be never. By not looking at the entire context, you can end up with selective interpretation and editing. Not that I would ever accuse the Republicans of doing that.
