The verdict has come down in the retrial of Bill Cosby on charges of assaulting Andrea Constand, and he is GUILTY AS CHARGED, on three counts of "penetration with lack of consent, penetration while unconscious and penetration after administering an intoxicant," as determined by a jury in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
My mom had his comedy albums. I grew up listening to them. I watched Fat Albert and the Cosby Show. When the news first broke, my mom had a hard time accepting it (still not sure she has?). I still find myself recalling bits from the albums on occasion, and what used to be pleasant is now tainted by what we've learned about his true character. Fuck!I can't understand why you'd want to have sex with an unresponsive person anyway, but not a guy, not into power plays.
Why don't they prosecute the suppliers of the drugs that Cosby was slipping to these women?Were they pharmaceutical drugs from licensed doctors or illegal drugs?Either way whoever was facilitating Cosby needs to be taken down too if there is sufficient evidence to try them.

We had an excavator operator in Alaska try to rescue a construction worker who had fallen into a hole which then partially caved in. That excavator operator did not have a light enough touch, apparently, because the construction worker was killed by the bucket.
Since childhood I have had a deep mistrust for people, especially men, who are over formal and over polite and who get agitated about other people's cussing and clothing. I've always felt like they were hiding something. Often, it was the fact that they were abusing their wives and children. Having said all that, I was a big Bill Cosby fan when I was a kid.
