Maher is one of an increasingly long list of aging comedians who never grew or updated their material with the times (or were never actually very funny to begin with) and are very HOW DARE THEY that the world moved on without them and tastes changed.

Maher is jealous that Mattel never made of doll of him.

Seems that no one wants a doll of a old white asshole that sits around and talks shit about people.

Hey Bill ! Mattel even made a Statue of Liberty Barbie!

Cause as you know, Liberty is a Lady. And so is Justice.

Hmm. Think about that a while.

I'm sure they're very seriously considering what will happen to all of the people who sleep outdoors in places with not enough shelter beds if they allow this ban to go into effect.

I'm guessing more profits for private jails and prisons when people are arrested for simply not being able to afford a place to live. Enriching their right-wing owners while being as cruel as possible is a win-win from their point of view.

Fucking heartless joyless ghouls.

I wonder, does becoming wealthy really warp people over time?

If, for example, I became stonkingly rich, would I slowly become a basket of severed rat cocks, or not?

I suggest we should carry out this experiment, for science, regardless of the risk of psychic damage to my own self.

Wealth distances you from discomfort. It changes you. If you were born to it you don't know the difference.

Expand full comment
insert_something_creative's avatar

I do think whether you are born into it or get wealthy later in life does make a difference. The assholes born on third base thinking they hit a triple are usually the worst in my opinion, but most of the nouveau riche are pretty terrible too.
