I was thinking the same thing, but then I remembered Tina Fey's hilarious recitation, verbatim, of a Palin word salad back in 2008. Some pundit called it her "stream of consciousness" style, which is pretty funny if you think about it: what comes out of her mouth is exactly what's going through her mind.
There's definitely a cringe factor whenever you're invited to click on a video link featuring either one of them. This was doubly scary.
