Or ... you get one vote for every 15 minutes you're made to wait. Fuck it! Make it one vote for every five minutes. Either way, you'll see polling places on every corner in certain neighborhoods if Reptards know what's good for them.

Supressing the ability for people to vote should be criminal. This should be imprisonable.

Republicans Urge Minorities To Get Out And Vote On Nov. 4th

(The Onion runs this headline every election cycle. I updated it for 2020.)

How about we trade with Mexico: they can have Texas and we'll take Baja California.

I waited in line for two hours to vote against Nixon's re-election, but it was a university town, so no surprise there.

I grew up in Texas, and went to segregated schools until 1969!!! It is one of the most racist places on earth.

Oh yeah. I have an aunt that lives in TX. She hates the Rs.

No. We are fucking taking Texas AWAY from those assholes. They don't deserve to have their own little tyranny to run the way they want, they deserve to be in prison. Sooner or later, and we will not stop until it's done. It's full of oppressed people who need to be freed. Those are our peeps there.

I don't know why The Onion would run that when it is actually true. Kind of defeats the whole idea of satire if you ask me.

"I read that nations that have secret police agencies that regularly perform torture on their citizens hire college students to commit the grisly acts, because they are so financially dependent. So they do. After six months to a year of beating people for simply reading banned books, the torturers are utterly devastated by what they have done, and are racked with guilt and PTSD."

Yeah that might happen in a minority of cases. But mostly they have many willing and eager volunteers who are thrilled to torture. In almost all cases torture is used to effectively destroy political opposition and to provide fun and excitement for the regime's most ardent supporters.

The way that "24" portrayed torturers as suffering heroes was so disgusting and extremely inaccurate.
