So, the Rightwingers want everyone to have freedom of speech; as long as they're only speaking English?
Sounds like they don't understand how free speech works. If I'm going to advocate that, it's got to include the right to speak in whatever language you want to speak in. Otherwise, you're being oppressive.
California. Is that where you are? Over here in Philly there's a truck called KOJA (Korea/Japan) that has a Korean barbecue steak sammich that I've heard raves about. I might take a trip there sometime after my cholesterol drops a few hundred points. It's also two blocks from where Trump got his MBA (U PENN).
That’s right! This is America! That’s why I’m going to have to brush up on my Dakota and Anishinaabemowin. Honestly, it’s as dumb as getting mad at people speaking Welsh and Irish in the UK.
I prefer having subtitles on because they force me to engage with the movie. I also like listening to the different languages; I’ve picked up a smattering of Japanese just from anime.
They also do Hibatchi I believe. Maybe I'll stop there some evening and see what they are about. I will be very surprised if there is an actual Japanese person in the truck.
Katie Phang's response was worth the trip to Google Translate! I don't watch the academy awards, so ta, Stephen, for posting the best director video. I'm so looking forward to Parasite!
Not for free, but if you are willing to pay a few bucks for a digital rental you can get virtually anything. Outside of film nerds though, I'm not sure younger people (yells at cloud) are going to be exposed to the films of, say, Orson Welles or Alfred Hitchcock, but "older art eventually fades in the cultural rearview mirror" is just kind of a universal thing that I'm not sure can be laid at the feet of Blockbuster closing all their stores.

I wish I were. It's big, green, and very popular.

I've seen all of his movies other than Parasite, and I'll remedy that as soon as it lands on Amazon Prime or Netflix or wherever.
I just looked, and the closest airports aren’t that close. So now I’m hoping it’s all rolls with no fish; that could be good, actually.

They don't really understand how anything works... that's why they're right-wingers.
For those curious but not enough to Google, Katie Phang's tweet translates to "Son of a bitch, Go away!"
While I have Netflix, I still frequent the neighborhood video/DVD store. I just rented Zardoz from it.

He received a B.S. from UofP's Wharton School, not an MBA.

We haven't had a neighborhood video store since about 2005. Also I don't have a DVD player anymore.
The problem with streaming services is that they rarely feature anything more than twenty years old.
