Point the first: I'm surprised they could get David "Diaper Shitter" Vitter to sit for Piyush's official portait. It's kind of impressive, really.

Point the second: Both the unofficial and official portraits look whiter than I am, and like mayo on <i>everything</i>.

Point the third: I actually contributed to the making of that portrait by virtue of state tax dollars. So like many other Louisianans, please allow me to say this: We are sorry, and f*ck Piyush Jindal. Maybe with votes, even. (Probably with votes.)

If memory serves, for people, there's only that one crayon labeled "flesh". Even in the big box.

That was my first thought: it resembles Alfred E. Neuman at least as much as it does Jindal. I wonder if the artist just trolled the governor, in spectacular and hilarious fashion.

EDIT: Somebody had to do it... <a href="http:\/\/bielzebubba.tumblr.com\/post\/110647896590" target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://bielzebubba.tumblr.com/post/110647896590">http://bielzebubba.tumblr.c...

I am liberal and do not judge Jindal by the color of his skin. I judge him by his character. Also by the characters he hangs out with at prayer meetings.

Outside of cadavers, I don't believe that flesh tone actually represents any living race, so I will concede Piyush may have a point. Also, the way the mouth is offset to one side defies actual human anatomy and probably physics, but not any one particular race. The perspective, spacing and shapes of those columns are seriously f*cked up too. but I do like the Wayne Thiebaud-esque way the shadows from his legs outlines his pants. So there's that.

Many years ago, when I was learning some Indian history, we discussed the (lighter) Aryans pushing into the sub-continent from the north, and pushing the (darker) Dravidians into the southern areas and Sri Lanka. The conflict between Sinhalese and Tamils in Sri Lanka could then be considered the final phase of this. Dravidians also tended to be shorter than Aryans.
