And what ultimately does that accomplish? Stories on Fox News saying "look at those intolerant libs shutting down free speech" to scare grandmothers to vote Republican. You are literally giving them exactly what they want. They go to places like large college campuses and liberal cities precisely to get a reaction and get shut down

Nazis, Klansmen, incels, Westboro Baptist, even FRC, ADF, AFA are all wildly unpopular when they have to defend their ideas on the merits. Let the Proud Boys speak and everyone hears what idiots they are. And let the legal system break them as is occurring in Charlottesville now. They are impotent losers.

And can the melodrama. There is good risk and foolish risk and going to fight in the streets with people already under law enforcement surveillance is about the dumbest risk possible. You want to protest something stage your own protest and get your own message out. Don't get the right wing troll message out.

As soon as you fall for their provocative behavior you lose.

Not trans but yeah i am privileged because i was able to go to law school which has allowed me to do more to promote human rights in one brief than i could protesting every day for my entire life. Don't presume that people who aren't marching are against you. Some of us are doing much more important work behind the scenes

People like Sinnott forget their own sins while pursuing the sins of others. Way stupid.

Aw, judge-wudgie was just doing his Johnny Cash imitation in preparation for a karaoke contest:

I shot a man in RenoJust to watch him die.

At least Sinnott wasn’t going to perform in black face.

They demonstrably do not want officers who question the status quo and expect to have civilians questioning them. Most police I know have an adversarial relationship with all non-cops. Them vs Us and they don't care about us and only want to protect each other in case they need them for cover. Smart independent thinkers need not apply they will not be accepted nor would they last long.

I wouldn't want to be the defendant in the test case, for sure. I suspect this judge would be happy to "fill in" for the prosecutor.

Or do we just want to live in Western Sahara where there's no government, only that mechanical belt that carries some kind of ore from a mine to freighters on the coast? That's a nice place to live. It's a capitalist paradise!

That all started when the Toronto cops got into a fist fight with clowns in a whorehouse.

I bet this response would have a lot more impact if I weren’t currently in law school. It does explain so much though.
