He is like Batman in that I would be okay if neither made another appearance in the media for the rest of my life.

It’s too bad the live action movies can’t be a third as good as the animated shows

Trump reminds me more of the Tasmanian Devil from Loony Tunes.

I never went pro sent in a few portfolios, but too slow on the pencil when I got a chance to try out.Graduated from the Kubert school though. Met Stan once upon a time. And unlike that bastard Liefeld, I can draw hands, feet and guns.I always maintained that Liefeld's only talent was being able to crank out pages quickly. And I'm dying to know who you are IRL.

There's a clue in my screen name. If you keep up with comics it won't be hard to figure out - I've been doing it for 30 years. I don't work for the Big 2 any more - I did about 18 years there, and that was more than enough. Now I do a creator-owned book at Image, and life has never been better. I'm also SLOOOOOOOW - I just got lucky with patient editors back in the early days. And portfolio reviews are worthless, I learned. It's all about knowing someone. I showed my portfolio around to everyone who would sit still long enough to look at it, and it was always "Yeah, I like your stuff, but I don't have anything for you right now." Then a writer who had seen my indy work asked for me on a book, and from that day on I've never had to hunt for work.

The Tick is a foolish bumbler, to be sure, but he's not a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot.

Personally, I always come back to John Oliver's eloquent description of Tucker Carlson: The answer to the question, "What if the word 'THUD' had a face?"

Hell, as long as we're talking comics, allow me to quote these words of wisdom from the Penguin: Living well is the best revenge.

Hey, pleasure to “meet” you. The book you drew is one of my favorites from that period. I hear HBO Max might be doing a version of it soon.

Interestingly, it took Trump’s presidency to make me realize what bugged me about Byrne’s Luthor. He was too much like Trump, who has zero redeemable qualities! I prefer a more tragic Luthor (one who might’ve been a better person if not for his jealous obsession with Superman).

Also, this song existed at least since 1944! I thought they made it up for the show.
