Horrid. Awful. May her memory always be a blessing.

This is all very confusing for me because I've been assured by Republicans since the Clinton administration that an armed society is a polite society.

As someone once said about Hillary Clinton, lock them up.

If Christopher Wray weren't sitting in the chair he is, I'd say that I honestly don't understand what they're doing walking around unincarcerated.

But he IS sitting in that chair ... and so I wish I didn't have to understand it as well as I think I do have to.

yeah, because retail workers don't have to put up with enough shit already even when there isn't a pandemic raging.

All the back the blue people say police officers have had to go to through tough shit recently but say nothing about retail and food industry workers who have had to put their lives on the line not just from COVID but from shitty customers who have no qualms putting them in the crosshairs over stupid culture wars, to the point of death.

I seriously don't understand what is wrong with people. Just because you have a flag? You didn't, like, try to force this individual to wear it or anything? Then what's the problem?

There's also a gendered aspect of it. "Pink collar" work seems to be heavily female and heavily undercompensated.

When women were programmers, it was undercompensated and unacknowledged. Now that it's a male dominated field...

See also chefs, teachers, nurses, etc.

Yep. Here in Texas knowing that we have "Constitutional carry" on the way, I honestly don't even want to go out in public at all.

If only there was some way to see this coming, or maybe even prevent it from happening.

With covid rates declining, anti-maskers are taking more extreme measures in their desire to kill other people.

Actually, this is just another example of people dying of an illness because folks didn't care enough to contain the spread.

And it's been around a lot longer than Covid.
