I found a good app called Stayfocused. It will block certain sites, allow certain sites, and if you're supposed to be working, you can set it to turn off the internet (apart from allowed sites) altogether for certain hours. However, I hadn't used it for months, and then one day it roused itself and announced "IN FIVE MINUTES YOUR INTERNET WILL BE BLOCKED FOR TWELVE HOURS" (it was late evening and I'd been trying to go to bed earlier when I set it). so I scurried around and finished whatever I was doing. Great! I'll get to bed early! Then... the internet was not blocked! The Stayfocused app didn't work! So did I go to bed? NO! I happily stayed up fucking around on the internet for another couple of hours. What am I, 14? But it may have been just a rogue "announcement" since I thought I'd turned the app off. Anyway, it's free and worth a try.
Though it is hard to identify real standouts in the veritable buffet of atrocities Drumpf has already served up, his demonizing of Somali immigrants in my home state of Minnesota has enraged me the most. I literally cannot understand how people can be so depraved as to vilify people who gave up everything in hopes of finding a better life, often suffering long separations from their families, who then built their lives up from scratch to form new, vital communities. I thought that was the motherfucking American dream or some shit?!?!
