Clarence and Ginni Thomas being salt-of-the-earth types isn't so outrageous when you remember that most salts are bitter and poisonous.

As for Alito, free speech also means the freedom to tell Samuel Alito to STFU and eat a bag of dicks. We have the right to shout you and the poor oppressed Christofascists you love down, asshole.

Well, salt makes my blood pressure go up, so there's that.

That he had the gall to name the Warren court as "unpopular" when they were only unpopular with fucking far right extremists even in their own time, and as he is himself helping to overturn everything the Warren court did and use THAT as an excuse is some shit.

Typical. "Mendacity in defense of White Privilege is no vice"

I grew up in the era of the Warren and Burger courts. Hence my constant mood of "WTaF"????

Now I know why SCOTUS reversed McDonald’s bribery conviction on the grounds that the fuckton of gifts and grifts wasn’t explicit enough. They were preparing for their own corruption being exposed and were exonerating themselves.

Yer Wonkette is too intelligent to let these fucks hide behind the honorable name of "conservative". THEY ARE NO SUCH THING. Call them what they are: "extremists", "far-right activists", "theocrats/ dominionists"...there is nothing "conservative" about overturning precedent or undermining the Constitution.

Why didn't Pubes just do what he did best and shut up?

I think in this case, no one gave him money or gifts to keep his yap shut.

what are the "lies" Thomas refers to?

being a judge he should have some idea how truth is determined.

His own. LONG DONG SILVER lives to lie.

A quick look at the Warren Court's "unpopular" decisions makes me inordinately proud of that Supreme Court and incandescently enraged at this one (excepting the sane members). Every avenue of court reform must be tested immediately, institutionalism be damned.

You think you hate Kegs’ rulings now, but just wait 50 years when he’s long dead to really judge him.

I support Alito being crucified just like his savior. I'll even rent a cave for his three day internment.

I'm going go with the Jewish take on resurrection here, to wit, "nope!"

It’s not enough for these men that they can grift like mad and are accountable to no one, they want us to love them for it too. They really want to go down in history with Oliver Wendell Holmes and Thurgood Marshall.

Clarence & Ginni's excellent RV adventures hobnobbing out on the highway among hoi polloi: Any post facto itineraries entered into evidence? Any recent sightings by KOA grounds crew or other eyewitness testimony? Any 35mm SLR snap shots or 8mm home movies by (un)pleasantly surprised Good Sam club members? If a luxury RV parks in the forest and nobody sees it, was it ever really there?
