https://en.wikipedia.org/wi... Yes, NC has had good senators in the past. Hope that happens in the future.

'Tis better that 53,000 should be stripped of their right than 1 illegal (maybe) vote be counted! How noble of you all to sacrifice yourselves for the good of democracy!!! You are so ok and so happy with this - we all are! Who WOULDNT be? My guess is only PEOPLE WHO HATE THE SANCTITY OF THE VOTE AND WANT AMERICA OVERRUN BY TERRORISTS.

Good question. We have had good senators in the past though. And Asheville is cheap to visit. Idk what Carolco is.

Then why in the world isn't that reflected in NC's Senate choices? Two Republican assholes, last time I checked. Is NC like TX, a non-voting state? I've been there; I enjoyed myself. A friend was in Wilmington when Carolco was there, and I enjoyed my visit. I liked a novel set in Asheville, but I've never been; it's way beyond my budget.

Sorry for the loss of your friend, Zyxomma, but I have to take issue with your characterization of NC. "Far too few Democratic strongholds" - Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Cary, Carrboro, Wilmington, and at least a dozen smaller cities would beg to differ. We understand Asheville is the Yankee idea of a liberal outlier in a backassward state, but at least do a bit of research before generalizing us all as a bunch a hicks. I'd take anywhere in North Carolina over anywhere in Pennsylbygodhio any day. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...

I voted for Feinstein in the primary. She's in line to be Chair of the Judiciary Committee (if a miracle happens), and I didn't want to lose that. Some nit on Twitter said I should vote De Leon for cannabis. Not only is that not a top issue for me, but we've already legalized it out here anyway. Even if she's not working for legalization on a federal level, I don't think she'd do anything to screw it up for her constituents.
