This shit would never fly if we did not have a complicit both sides all opinions are valid press propping them up.

But surely, even THEY look askance at people beating up on cops, right? Law and Order?

Oh no, they're just passionate about their cause.

Damn. These Fucking People. "Motivated by intense venom and spite" It's sickening that there are so many and that so much is motivated by them. Fuck!

There's got to be a better universe.

One of the leaders of this fucktangle of pasty, inbred shitneels, a particularly odious little mucus eater named Daniel Thomas (Danny Tommo) bought a boat with the intention of going out and interfering with the work of the RNLI.

Apparantly, these brain dead swamp dwellers are so incompetent that they couldn't e g enough moor their little grift-boat correctly and a recent high tide caused it to sink. Sadly, Tommo and friends were not on board at the time.

Ta, Brooke, especially for keeping us up to date on this Nazi scum. We must remain vigilant.

Again, agree with most points but it has to be understood that it is not Trump mimicry. It has happened simultaneously. This horse shit surfaced with Brexit. In 2016. But it had been bubbling under for a long time, resentment amongst some people that the UK had declined in influence and power since the Second World War. Which the right would never stop going on about. And further stirred up by post 2008 austerity. The far right in the UK has used the Trump and MAGA phenomenon as a tool but they have their own, admittedly similar, aims and motivations. As usual, the US has done it bigger, better, faster. Our great hope here is that Trump’s second term goes so badly for the US that it provides a clear example of what awaits you if you choose to travel that road. Sorry to seem happy about it but it’s looking like that is what may well happen. Bring on the midterms, I’m optimistic that you can save yourselves and the rest of the world from having to learn to the lessons of the last 100 years or so all over again.

I am an American Karen who lives in California and I welcome those seeking asylum, especially the wee babbies, and I will defend unto un-aliveness the First Amendment. And also I'd never heard of "inauthentic organization" before today. Thank you for giving me new ideas! And also too as well in addition, OT, my copy of Colin Kaepernick's memoir just arrived! Yay!

Circle jerk?

Or maybe "wanking" means something different in my town.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Here's another example of excessive outrage that was ginned up by a relative handful of people against a less powerful minority (students):

Are “multiple ground stops” more numerous than “ground stops”?

I did the same thing years ago when I was very new. "What does hemli-nes mean?"

(In my defense, that's the way the newspaper had hyphenated it.)

I know you're the professional, Brooke, but in my opinion, if you're gonna use "wanker" twice, you might as well go for a triple. Clearly, it's simply not possible to call these people "wankers" too many times!

Last week someone (Blue Spot or Mystery Surf maybe)posted a link to a video of Sister Rosetta Tharpe performing 'This Train'. The 4th verse was 'this train don't carry no wankers'. I thought 'Sister Rosetta! I'm shocked! I googled the lyrics and it was 'winkers'. I didn't know that winking condemned you to perdition. Wanking maybe, but winking?
