Yes! It is! And I'm sick of hearing how we shouldn't try to call it a victory, how Democrats should all just hang our heads and admit we suck just because it's no longer $3.5T. This stuff matters.
Ta, Dok. I never read Tiger Beat on the Potomac; that's your job.
ETA: When I sign up for my network's insurance policy (I never got the email sent to employees last year so when I got hold of it it was too late) it will include dental, vision, and hearing. I already have Medicare.
Yep. Always start with a high bid. He is a hundred times cannier than the gee-shucks exterior lets on.
I'm glad he went that big, because now the naysayers are crowing about how much lower the number is now, while missing the fact that the number is nonzero. Still a bit discouraging to hear the press, though. But the press is what it is.
I agree more people should listen to The Nancy in general 👍🏼
It's true, you gotta spend money on the necessary things, otherwise fixing it costs twice as much later. So many people making such asses of themselves complaining about how inconvenient it is to feed hungry kids and stuff. They're furious at the prospect of people not needing to work 3 jobs to pay the bills.
Well, I mean, technically, they have DONE government. They've passed a ton of anti-voter laws, anti-masking mandates, creepy fundie anti-abortion laws, anti-history and book burning laws, and they're very clearly letting insurrectionists run rampant and straight up TREASON happen with zero consequences by inaction. Some of that looks a whole lot like DOING government to me.
I've spent more on my teeth that it cost me to go to College. Sometimes I think we should go back to the early 1900's and just rip all our teeth out when we get married, and then get dentures (impants now!) because absolutely F*CK teeth. They were only meant to last 40 or 50 years and we live too damn long now.
My wife has a tooth that's gone bad, and needs to be replaced with an implant. After 6 appointments with the dentist, gum specialist, and orthodontist since March, the only thing that has been done to date is one of them cleaned her teeth (and caused a gum infection in the process). Finally she got disgusted and instead is going to Peru to have it done while visiting her family. Instead of an estimated $7,000 this will cost around $2000 (including plane fare) and be done in a couple of weeks.
It's still a pretty big fucking deal, to coin a phrase.
Sorry I forgot the link. Take a look.https://ballotpedia.org/Uni...
Right-Wing Politico is the WORST Politico.

Nope, take the win. BTW, the President knew he was never going to get 3.5 trillion when he asked for it.

That shit is by design.
Unpossible!

Well, summer is pretty nice in most of the Blue states.
