Ummm...how do I say this? I (a non religious person), spent most of last year praying that something, ANYTHING would come along to keep Trump from getting re-elected. Although I didn't want the economy to crash, or people to die, I wasn't very specific with my powerful prayers to the monkey paw.
Next time I'll be more specific, like "please, God, let Dotard get caught on a hot mic talking about how disgusting his cult members are, and how he loathes the hicks and morons who vote for him in the red states."
Note: this will probably only get 5% of his followers to stop worshipping him, but that could have been enough to help him not get re-elected. I wasn't trying to kill anyone!

That is really not true: America has a finite number of hospital beds, and for every death Covid causes it hospitalizes 19 more. If 170,000 deaths isn't enough to shake your complacency (and what kind of human being are you if it doesn't) then the fact that 3.4 million people have been hospitalized definitely should. Especially since, as a society, we all end up paying for those who get sick one way or the other.
