My son and his little friends all huddled in the corner of the classroom and stayed silent for one minute.
They just looked at each other in confusion while I held my tears back and imagined what we were practicing for.
This was a long-winded way of saying I fucking hate republicans.

Hassan Piker is awesome and he shows a model of how you infuse weightlifting and other lifestyle stuff w politics. Most people arent news hounds so you have get people where they are. The Dem Party should be finding people with liberal leaning and large followings in design, makeup, wellness, sports whatever and work with them instead of spending billions on ads no one watches. The pols need to communicate clearly and authentically when they try to be the influencers it just comes off as sad and try hard when it's not something they would normally do. Let Jasmine Crocket cook on the house floor dont make her do stupid tik tok trends but cultivate those people that make the trends as influencers for good.

Their justification for killing daddy is “self defense”, which entailed driving three hours to San Diego to buy shotguns with fake IDs, totally normal PREMEDITATED “self defense” actions; and only came out after they lawyered up following months of denials and finally one of them confessing to his shrink that yeah, they did it—but no mention to said shrink of any abuse—except there *still* has been no explanation why they had to do a “self defense” against mommy by shotgunning her in the face (after reloading) to make sure she was dead (because she was still alive after they shot her the *first* time).
They were both adults at the time—18 and 21—and weren’t being held captive, unless “to the Beverly Hills lifestyle” counts; all they had to do was f’ing LEAVE THE HOUSE if they really thought their lives were in danger, maybe even go to the cops, or one of their relatives who are so eager to help them now.
Entitled little white rich sociopaths cynically playing on public sympathy to work the system, and as guilty as hell; let ’em rot in prison, it’s better than they deserve.
Having lived through the crime, the trial and its aftermath, I gotta say that the Menendez brothers are the living embodiment of the child who kills his parents and then throws himself on the mercy of the courts because he’s an orphan.
They’re both guilty as sin and twice as evil. This was no heat of the moment crime. Long-planned, well-thought out. The way they killed their mother was especially heinous.
I would like to relate a story that I find interesting. My dog, Ewan(who we refer to as “Mrs. Kravitz” due to his love of looking out the window and commenting on things), has stopped barking at the Amazon delivery vans in the neighborhood. We used to get regular deliveries from Amazon and he would bark every time he saw one of their vans nearby. I have canceled my Amazon account because of Bezos decision to lick Tramp’s taint, and as a result we don’t get Amazon deliveries anymore. Ewan knows who is worthy of being barked at and who is just a pathetic Nazi sympathizer. Dogs get it.
