The avian dinosaurs evolved with the times. Republicans don't believe in evolution.

Is it just me or is that link to the deleted wingnut tweet rather long?

My local CA grocery stores have had ballot drop-off boxes over several elections. I have have noted them, but prefer U.S. Mail or to drive them to the official county elections office drop-off box (a "mere" 21-mile drive for me).

I discussed this with my brother just yesterday:

Him: "Hey the new market has a ballot drop-off box"Me: "Better to drive it up to the county offices, just to be sure. You don't know what RWNJs might be in charge of those store drop-offs, especially in our area."Him: "Yeah, I think I should drop it off at the county office."Me: "Good plan."

We are still going over several ballot propositions, and Mr CB, as a new voter, needs to be thoroughly edumacated on the CA ballot proposition clusterbleep.

Heh, I grew up where that particular lunacy has its strongest hold. Look, idiots, CA wasn't going to let you go when you were a bunch of obscure counties in far Northern CA. They're *definitely* not going to let you go now that you're claiming ring counties of the state capital.

To be fair, some of the official locations here are churches, but they're (a) in the ballot book and (b) will have county staff there to help you.

I'm just about a mile shy of being in McClintock's district, so I don't have vote in the fight, but I hope Kennedy takes out that jackass that can't even be bothered to *live* in his district. (He lives in Elk Grove.)

Hey, my best friend moved to Fort Worth a year and change ago. :-)

The moved from upstate New York because of work... but then he ended up working from home. (Even before COVID-19.)

I think he only just recently went to the local office for the first time, for some paperwork thing that could only be done in person.

Who'd ever give their ballot to a stranger who comes to their door? It would surely be a Republican criminal. Anyway, what's the guy talking about? And if he's right, why do they put signs on their unofficial boxes that say "official"?

It was exciting. It reminded me of wanting to buy a used car-- a nice black BMW, this very large kind I wanted and there weren't very many around-- this one looked nice but we were told by the man we asked to look at it that it had been in a huge crash. The dealer acted concerned and said he'd look into it. He called back, and for some reason we had him on speakerphone and we were at dinner. "Good News!" he bellowed. "No accident!" We asked our man about that and he suggested that in that case the dealer should explain just why the parts stickers were all over 80% of everything under the hood. For a long time "Good News!" had a special meaning for us.

I read an article about the terrible conditions in Indian and maybe Chinese drug factories and all the worst ones in the article are ones the drugs I take come from. I just had to put it out of my mind.

ULine is a corporation that makes boxes, so they get to vote many times. At least twice for each employee, who they’re certain would all vote for the President, because he is the President after all. Plus, it’s what God wants. Also, MyPillows are people, too, pretty sure.
