I’m on a plane in about an hour, so I won’t be able to upfist you as usual after that, but for sure know I appreciate your sweet comments. Have a good day!
I saw that lamb and thought, "Huh, that looks like a Southdown." Then your link said it was a "babydoll." Turns out, that's a newer name for...Southdowns! It's a little more complicated than that (breeders can be so finicky) , but I still know my sheepies!
Not to bleat about the bush, but I briefly wondered about your handle. The OED is confident that the term "sheep-monger" has been used exactly once in human history – in 1560, in the writing of Thomas Becon, theologian and Church of England clergyman (https://www.oed.com/dictionary/sheep-monger_n).
The Senate is appointing judges that Biden has nominated as fast as possible - continuing a hugely important effort. That's "doing something". Maddow is grandstanding (much as she did with Bernie). Yes, she's brilliant and qualified but she's also keeping on eye on ratings. Nothing is more important than the courts!
Speaking of gross AI ads, I got one for liver pill of an otherwise attractive female butt farting toxic waste-green gas. Hey, AI, some of us are at work over here.
Oh hey. Still pole-sitting. Contemplating options. Filling orders, making bad music with a device I still haven't figured out in 2 years, and still working on an epic game of Satisfactory.
Now that the shock is over I'm starting to put my toe back into the news, but I'm not finding much that's better than remaining oblivious until there's a call to action. My Resist Fascism sticker campaign continues. I did hit in front of the fanciest condo building in town last night.
Here's my Etsy. My company makes terpene flavoings. Not exactly crochet hats, but at this point every bottle is hand poured by me.
She is angry that Senate Democrats aren't making loud, splashy stories happen, saying that they are not "showing up for duty."
Fact is, they're fucking busy right now, because REPUBLICAN Senators aren't showing up for duty and they have an opportunity. What are they doing? Confirming judges. They've talked through three appointments in critical seats (including the 11th Circuit) that Republicans badly wanted to block but didn't have the votes to do so because several Senators are off on side quests. They even made Vance fly back to Washington for a vote, but he didn't get there in time. Republicans are pissed about it. So is Trump.
This window of opportunity won't last long. There will be time for splashy shit later. Right now, the Senate has its priorities right.
We made loud, splashy stories happen for ten years, while we shouted from the rooftops what a danger this chud was, and how he really needs to be subject to some law, any law.
To say that that didn't go our way is an understatement.
We were ignored at best, threatened at worst, and in the middle, subjected to repeated responses of, "Fuck off, libtard."
Now we're trying to walk that famous fine line between staying informed and staying sane.

Broligarchy is an awkward term for the coming rule by douchebag Incels.
I never trusted Joey Starbucks. Now, stupidly he and Mika are going to find out that bending the knee won’t save them from the coming retribution.

Aaaaargh, the new landing page! Aaaah.... I'll get used to it. But that GIANT pic of MTG scared the piss outta me.
Click the "Archives" button. Less chaotic!
That's what I usually do! But I didn't know about the landing page changes, so I scared myself. :)
THANKS, Biff. Shit!
