Someone commented earlier today that he/she would run for a local office but was afraid of “getting shot.” Instead of surrendering to the terrorists we should follow this young senator’s example.
On MSNBC, I learn that John Eastman is still wandering around trying to decertify the 2020 election. This scum needs to be tried, convicted, and then misplaced on the way to prison.
OT A commercial ran during my local TV news today. About 10 youtube videos of Tesla cars hitting barriers, almost hitting other things (stopped by driver grabbing steering wheel to fix). This group is presenting federal legislation to stop Tesla automated driving software. I think a big meltdown may be coming from Elon.
It's easy for me in CA and a white male to be "brave" in fighting against nascent fascism. It's a whole other thing for people in places like MI to do the same. And it seems that the bravest people facing off genuine threats of physical violence are often women makes me think that women are badasses.
And, so, Sen Mallory, you have the utmost respect and admiration which is the very least I can do.
My brother sent me a tweet of Senator McMorrow - it was powerful - I get here to the Wonkette to post it and (my pretend boyfriend) Evan has already done a post on the whole shebang.
Ugh, YouTube is recommending a video of Sylvester Stallone complaining to David Rubenstein that "Rocky" wouldn't get made today. Nope, I don't want to hear a second of it.
