The Waukesha parade tragedy happened 5 minutes from where I live. The perpetrator has documented mental health issues and was drunk and high fleeing from a domestic disturbance. This was NOT an act of terrorism. I share your concerns that turnout in Madison and Milwaukee won’t be enough to elect Barnes, but you’re parroting right wing whataboutism talking points that serve to reframe domestic terrorism in a way that obfuscates the fact that it is primarily the product of white xtian fanaticism. Please don’t do that.
