I like David Gerrold's construction; "Celibate by popular demand."

Yeah ER was nice looking, had money, a nice car, and Daddy was in the movie biz if I'm not mistaken. How repulsive was his personality that he couldn't get laid?

I've been saying this for a while. Both ISIS and white supremacist terrorists seem to be driven more by misogyny than anything, and several have had incel tendencies.

I watched his video screed at the time.(Yeah, I suffer for my curiosity. More than once I have thought surely not... gone looking on the internet and been proven wrong)He was definitely on the uncanny valley side of NQR even without pay heed to the words. Like someone put all the right parts together to make a handsome person, but it didn't work.

Because they think no woman should be allowed to make money from sex as long as there are any women out there who choose not to fuck them for free.

I have a friend who was a homicide detective who bitched about this a lot, lol. He longed to be pitted against a brilliant criminal mastermind, preferably a hot female one who taunts her pursuer shamelessly.

Interesting that you mention serial killers. Doesn't it seem likely that most serial killers were incels in the first place? Any maybe we really do have fewer serial killers because the police have become more adept at catching them.

Ted Bundy had a bunch of girlfriends. Dennis Rader was married and had kids.

Not a specialist, but that seems like a chicken-and-egg issue. Which came first?I would say that incels are to serial killers that Proud Boys and the like are to Waffen SS. The former dream of being the latter with impunity, but fortunately most of them fall short in both conviction and smarts to jump and become their dream guy.I'm also thinking that where incels are for the most part a ball of frustration and self-pitying, serial killers have a different set of emotions at their core. Hate, contempt, are common between both. But incels want to belong, while serial killers are set on punishing their targets and generally acting on their fantasies.Incels want social attention as a validation of their beliefs ("I was right to claim to be downtrodden"), serial killers want social fear as a recognition of their power over others ("I'm a wolf hiding among sheep").But note that the two mindsets are not incompatible: an incel could be a serial killer.

"Part of that is because there are just fewer serial killers altogether,"

Serial killers might be evil, but they needed to be fairly intelligent to get away with their crimes. People now are probably just too stupid to be serial killers. Oh, I'm sure there are still a lot of crazies who would like to murder people regularly, but they're not very bright and tend to be caught after the first murder.

I do sympathize and hope you can overcome that. I wish the best for you.

Yeah, it's easier for a shy girl since we aren't expected to make the first move - but remember that entire boys must ask girls out thing is a sexist relic of a totally patriarchal and misogynistic society

Some women like shy men - and since opposites attract they tend to be outgoing enough to be willing to ask men out.
