Systems designed with their top priority being to provide services to citizens instead of to profit the investor class will save money. In a way it would be free compared to what we have now.

The GOP is a calcified opposition party without any idea how to functionally govern, that’s a big part of why they’ve embraced division and lowest common denominator populism, and everything else that led to Trump.
That's a fact. And in my opinion, one of the reasons that there are GOP members voting for Biden is because they're pretty sure that the Dems won't flip the Senate. So, they can act all "country over party" & still be reasonably confident that Joe won't get any legislative victories.
