Don't call it torture. Call it nostalgia Continuing her fact-free Git Tuff stance on national defense in last week's debate -- the Sixth Fleet hasn't shrunk, a few thousand extra troops in Germany would mean nothing, and there's already a new missile defense system in Poland -- Carly Fiorina is now
One thing I always wondered about the torture debacle...I read that one guy had been waterboarded over 150 times. After about, oh I don't know, maybe the 135th time, didn't it occur to anyone that it wasn't working?
Please don't mention shoving things up people's asses, or cramming stuff down people's throats to any member of the GOP. These are there obsessions, and you're only egging them on.
My question is "Will she lay off Congress critters for the entriety of her Presidency and rehome their jobs into the Chinese Communist Party to save money"?
It's hard to believe that Bill Kristol is wrong about everything, because statistically that should be impossible, yet he is. It's kind of like the GOP, what have they NOT been wrong about for the past 35 years? Bank deregulation? WRONG! Tax cuts for the wealthy lead to economic prosperity? SUPER WRONG!! Wars are a good idea? SUPER DUPER WRONG! Welfare reform? YUP, WE DON'T HAVE ANY MORE POORS! Gay marriage will lead to America falling into the sea? JURY'S STILL OUT ON THAT ONE, YOU BIG HOMOS.
The entire GOP's platform is based on wishful thinking. Examples: "If we tell kids not to have sex, and/or outlaw abortion, only wanted (white!) babbies will be bornt." "If we declare a war on drugs, people will stop using drugs." "Everyone should be an engineering major or a doctor, no need to educate anyone else." "Cutting taxes will lead to benevolent billionaires showering us all with riches." I could go on, but you get the point.
"My whole campaign is torture."
Whoever is Jack Black's stunt double underwent a well-executed version of it in S1:E2 of The Brink. It was a decent demonstration of the technique.
Blub blub blub blub
I just had crazy deja vu...
... until it dies prematurely and you pay to have it disposed of properly.
... I think it depends on the "values" one is expected to vote on.
... whenever I hear "shining city", I think "forbidden city"... something to revere but never actually be invited inside.

Yep, Congress is REALLY interested in getting to the truth.http://talkingpointsmemo.co...
ETA: Halp! I mist have stumbled into the Reublican's alternate reality - Thought I posted this on yesterday's Fiorina/PP story.

"It puts the botox in its face" is more appropriate in this case.
Or running for office as a GOP candidate.
My question is "Will she lay off Congress critters for the entriety of her Presidency and rehome their jobs into the Chinese Communist Party to save money"?
