I just checked my school district's website. They're still planning on in-person full-day full-week learning though with everyone wearing masks. But the site says the situation is still developing and their plans could still change.
Found out Thursday night, that one of my favorite Relatives is not going to get Vaccinated because of the usual blablafuckingblablabla… her husband and son are two of those very special kind of Dunning-Kruger morAns who think they’re pretty sharp and intellectually superior, when the reality is that they’re vapid stupidassmotherfucking buffoons. I screamed at her at the topofmylungs on the phone (I know… stupid) and finally hung-up.
The very weird thing for me in all of this, is knowing that some of my other Relatives, the assholes who I’m pretty sure voted for Lardass, are all Vaccinated… but this one (from the other side of the Family), who has kept her politics out of our conversations, like forever, is anti-Covid-Vaccination. Honestly, I have no idea who she voted for, and only now can I assume she watches Fox or OAN or Newsshit… or at least that the two male stupidassmotherfuckers in the house do.
It’s killing me (hopefully not literally) because I really like her.
There was a very recent article from the most recent European Research that said that the vast number of Breakthroughs with Vaccinated folks, are because they didn’t develope enough Antibodies from the Vaccination.

LOL, that reminds my of a long long long ago game story. One character in our party (we were relatively high level at this point, 5th or so) was this Amazon fighter who had scored her coveted +5 Chainmail , +5 Shield. She decided to attack a large group of kobolds, on horseback with her lance.
Debbie rolled a natural one on her attack which the DM ruled was a catastophic fail, spearing the unfortunate kobold to the ground, digging in the lance and unhorsing her. OUr DM knew a lot about medival combat and just what happened to horsemen who got thrown in the middle of a melee with foot infantry.
She proceeded to miss three saving throws in a row. We were stunned.
DM ruled that she was swarmed by the kobolds and relieved of her weapons, armor and pretty much everything else on her person. She lived but was very pissed :-)
'Twas a fun adventure getting it all back, and we got to tease her mercilessly.
My Albertson supermarket in Riggecrest CA (eastern Sierra) carries Mexican (cane sugar) Coke in four bottle cartons. Expensive but very good. This town also has 6 Mexican restaurants, so not really a surprise.

In a stroke of tragicomic irony, Delta takes out the people who brought it into being in the first place;3. We never get rid of this shit, and people dying from a preventable disease just becomes an expected part of Third World Murka, just like people dying from poverty, malnutrition, and being unable to afford medical care.Guess which one is the most likely possibility.
