Form Holt's statement:

“The CofCC is hardly responsible for the actions of this deranged individual merely because he gleaned accurate information from our website.”

In other words, "Hey, just because we said stuff on our site meant to incite fear and hatred while instilling a desire individuals reading it to go and DO something about it, we can't be blamed!" If Charles Manson can be convicted of murder after he convinced his 'family' to perform the acts, then why are these liquid bowel movements still free?

It really looks like he made an effort to stage the shot. Green sunglasses worn granny style? √Bathroom hand towel? √Long sleeve shirt and short pants? √Rebel flag? √Greenery? Yeah Mom - I'll put them back! Geez!! √Big gun where penis should be? √The biggest mistake I see is the gun is facing the wrong direction.

I'm sure in all the black-on-white crimes that the CCC loves to talk about were racially motivated too. Clearly the skin color is what makes someone commit crime rather than, I don't know, being desperately poor. Did we learn nothing from Trading Places people?

I learned that in 1983 cars had mobile computers that were networked right into the stock exchange.

They should have given it all to the black panther party. THEN I woulda applauded. A couple thou (that he prolly woulda donated anyway to show he cares, here, have a token) to the victims was at least, better then the other response, the "ew I had no idea your money had bigot buck stink on it even though I have spoken at your bigot conventions!"

Also, too, please note El's last line and link that clearly debunks the claim made in the previous quoted paragraph. *pats*

He was quite restrained, in truth. Far more conciliatory and willing to go easy on the South after victory than many. Got in trouble for offering terms more generous than Grant and others wanted. He was honored with parades and positive public appearances in the South--even in Atlanta!--after the war. The demonization of Sherman into the madman of rape and pillage was a concerted part of Lost Cause revisionism that took place decades later. (He also was one of the very few who in advance of the war was warning that this was going to be a nasty, bloody, prolonged conflict. "War is a hell" indeed.)
