yeah this is bizarre. bbc's been my home page since like...the internet started and until the past year or so (maybe a little longer? i am older than the internet so it's hard to remember) it's taken a hard shift right on america and esp on bamz (and especially mark mardell).
and the whole reason they are my home page is b/c they supposedly offer a softer, more eurotrash-y perspective.
I can sympathize with Galicia. I had to put 45 cents worth of stamps on my ballot, and then walk it all the way down to the mailbox.
