She 100% found out that he was shagging someone the right wing would not approve of. Would bet money on that.

That he Ran Not Walked to file for a no fault intimates to me that she was on the verge of filing herself.

Important Harding University alumnus. I wonder if they'll take down the hours of fawning interviews with him and his inbred-looking family members.

Just wondering. Since the US didn't exist back then, for what country do they think Jesus was a nationalist?

Robyn, I just want to say I spent literally *hours* today reading through the comments on your piece about that loathsome piece of virus-occupied shit Stephen Crowder (linked above, from 2023) and other than feeling it would be a bit pointless to Rec comments made 3 years ago (many of which were fucking awesome), what blows my mind is that you got literally 600 comments and only 8 'Likes' - including mine today - on your story itself?!?! WTAF?!

The like counter on substack is kind of faulty. I've seen an article get hundreds of likes and the next day it reads like 10. I am guessing she got more than 8 likes on it.

It's probably even less accurate for articles that existed before Wonkette was on Substack, like that one.

That is a damn fine point XD

Ta, Robyn. Walters looks like he was personally responsible for Grindr crashing at CPAC. JMO.

No matter how hard Walters prayed about it, his wife refused to grow a penis…

Really got to the bottom of the matter at hand.

He’ll just have to lift himself up by his boot strap-ons

Oh, look: another sensible proposal to escape a second American Civil War, for Dummycrat senior non-leaders to declare their undying opposition to.

It isn't even fun to point out the staggering hypocrisy of guys like Ryan anymore. You read about them and just assume this sort of big reveal will hit them. MAGA will still hold them up as shining examples and carry on as though nothing has happened.

belfryo's avatar

That the right STILL gets to control the narrative baffles the fuck out of me...

I know. I got out of an online discussion when a bro insisted North Korea quit doing underground nuclear tests because they were afraid of trump. Never mind they've done more missile tests during donny's reign. They're loud and Right, and therefore right.

"No, see, no-fault divorce is only something terrible if it's the *woman* filing for it. Anything a straight, White man does is, by definition, totally hunky-dory with the Lord."

The cruelty is the point;

The hypocrisy is also the point.

"Look at what we can do, you can't do that. Ha Ha!".

Nothing says “traditional family values” quite like spending years attacking no-fault divorce and then immediately using no-fault divorce the second your own marriage catches fire.

Also Christian nationalism keeps producing the exact same weird paradox: the louder someone performs holiness in public, the more likely there’s eventually an article involving lawsuits, porn, secret texts, or somebody quietly sprinting toward an attorney.

Even though I know those people are out there, it’s still astounding that they post this kind of blatant misogyny. (Side note: I’m starting to think we need a stronger word for ideas like disenfranchisement and legalizing rape.) Perhaps I am misremembering, but wasn’t there a time you could get booted from Twitter for saying that kind of thing?

Could you still get kicked off Twitter for saying similar things about Black or LGBTQ people?

Forgive me for repeating this anecdote, but in the before times I was permanently suspended from Twitter for a response to Laura Loomer. She said she wouldn’t accept a door dash delivery from a Muslim and I said I hoped she starved to death.

Now these monsters are suggesting any woman who isn’t married with children should pay a tax out of her substandard income, and if we don’t like it, we can’t vote anymore to change it.

And people gave me shit for saying I wanted a woman president.
