2- Leave it to this crew to use the one word, 'Socialist', that has been demonized by the right for decades!! Making them have to spend precious time making memes explaining what a Democratic Socialist is to a bunch of people who don't even pay attention to elections until a few weeks before its time to vote.
There are so many other good names they could have adopted, but they chose the one with the scary word in it, making their lift much heavier than it should be. I know its too late to change, and maybe no one but me and my old ass cares about this stuff, but in my 58 years I've seen the Democrats make one terrible marketing decision after another, and this one is yet another example of them shooting themselves in the foot.
I am all for the things these guys are for, and I have no problem voting for them because I am all for changing everything, but I can already see regular folks being confused by the terminology, and that's never good when trying to win elections.
