Grazing fees scofflaw Cliven Bundy must be feeling pretty confident now that the Bureau of Land Management has backed down on seizing his cattle, he’s surrounded by his own armed militia and his heroism has earned him a three-week-long blowjob from the wingnut media.
Who had Bundy going for the double down? Because that's what he did today on The Peter Schiff show:
“That’s exactly what I said. I said I’m wondering if they’re better off under government subsidy, and their young women are having the abortions and their young men are in jail, and their older women and their children are standing, sitting out on the cement porch without nothing to do, you know, I’m wondering: Are they happier now under this government subsidy system than they were when they were slaves, and they was able to have their family structure together, and the chickens and garden, and the people had something to do? And so, in my mind I’m wondering, are they better off being slaves, in that sense, or better off being slaves to the United States government, in the sense of the subsidies. I’m wondering. That’s what. And the statement was right. I am wondering.”
Well, this is the guy who proudly flies a huge American flag while proclaiming that he does not recognize the authority (or existence) of the federal government. Rationality is not among his life skills. USA! USA! USA!
As a Wonketter remarked the other day, you don't bring logic to a derp fight.
Same question was asked after McVeigh murdered a lot of federal office workers and their children. I believe the formal answer from the rightwing was "Timothy who?"
<blockquote>He seems to be decrying what big government has done to the black family &ndash; which big government has negatively affected not just the black family, but all families regardless of ethnicity &ndash; so perhaps he included that in his remarks against big government?</blockquote>
Yeah, sure Dana, people <em>always</em> continue their expounding of a wider theory of big government by introducing a whole batch of racist garbage with the phrase &quot;I&#039;ll tell you <strong>another</strong> thing I know about the Negro&quot;
Pretty sure he meant Obama should be picking cotton instead of collecting money from the gubmint.
&quot;Puddle of ferret spooge Dana Loesch&quot; This, Gary, is why I want to have your child.

He should have thought for a cotton-picking minute before opening his mouth.
Those armed militia guys are such a bad influence . . .
Aren&#039;t there battleships that can hit that from the Pacific Coast?
Bunkerville to call for a drone bounty, like these guys? <a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/colorado...">http://www.nydailynews.com/...

Are we sure Cliven&#039;s family isn&#039;t from Rock Ridge?
Damn my neighbors family had been pickin the cotton since the early1800&#039;s and still wants their 40 acres and a mule to eat for free
He&#039;s out of his cotton-picking mind. Keep shucking and jiving that chicken, dude.
Yes, but, but, but, even MLK used that word!!
Because they&#039;re [USA-] flag wavers who don&#039;t believe that the Federal government exists?
&quot;Have him slip into these shorts.&quot;
