Having made their point about letting welfare cattle mooch off the publicly owned lands of Nevada, Cliven Bundy's idiot supporters turned their sights on freeing ATVs, with an illegal ride through Recapture Canyon in southeastern Utah. The ride was endorsed and encouraged by Bundy, who told his supporters in an email, "We need to help the people of Blanding re-establish who is in control of the land. This is your next stand. Will you be there to help them like you helped us?”
They fantasize that they are soldiers ready to rise up against <strike>Obama</strike> tyranny. Wolverines! But really, one Marine in a humvee could defeat them all. He or she could call in some helicopters, tanks, indirect fire, air strikes, nukes or a buddy, but that would be -- as Colin Powell put it once -- unchivalrous.
They're just like rabid gunsters who have to have their toys in every nook and cranny in the country all the while bellowing it's their constitutional right. There is no constitutional right to carry the damn things openly or discretely in public. No right what so ever. They have a right to a gun, but the constitution says noting about having the damn things everywhere. Pile on gunsters, but I won't respond.
While these idiots caper around with their guns and other toys, the Feds are busily taking names and license plate numbers. I suspect most of these patriot cosplayers know that they&#039;re going to be ignored as a group, no matter what stupid stunts they pull off . . . and that after they&#039;ve given up, packed up, and gone home, they&#039;re going to get their asses handed to them on a long list of weapons and Federal trespass charges.
