How can you not trust this guy? Coal. PAC Gold . Kentucky Crack. It's an interesting time for our some of our dirtiest corporate persons. Under attack from stupid Obama, limp-wristed yet increasingly affordable alternative energy sources, overextended regulatory agencies, and fucking hippies, these persecuted companies have had no choice but to pass on the persecution to their workers and others in the communities they "serve." And you say "Trickle Down" theory is bunk. Pfft.
"Business!" cried the Ghost, wringing its hands again. "Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were, all, my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!"
I've heard about this Blankenship motherfucker. A real piece of shit if there ever was one. I hope he dies--of natural causes, of course--a slow, agonizing death in which not even the best Afghan heroin can numb the pain. Fuck him.
Burning coal (by the ton) where I live provides electricity for Vegas and Phoenix, but does very bad things to the air here - hundreds of miles from either city.
Back in the day I was part of a contract crew working on Massey land. We had to go through this ginormous thing about safety. Safety safety safety! It was yoooogeee! It lasted hours! It starred Blackenhearted. And then we drove from the seminar and right into an iced over hole in the parking lot that was not roped off nor even posted about, and that also swallowed our explorer AND the crew van. We had to be towed out by a chain as thick as my thigh by a vehicle that had tires taller than the van itself. I asked the miner dude who towed us out if this was a normal thing and he shrugged and said, I quote "Mines are dangerous places".After that we sorta just took the whole safety thing into our own hands.
128 families providing most of the money for the presidential election, most of it going to Republicans. Where do most of these people get their money? Surprisingly, energy and finance. I love that they can say with a straight face "I'm opposed to regulations and inheritance taxes, because I just want to help other people!" I thought he was bituminous?
Wasn't he Illuminati?

Clean leachate.
Coal is good for only one thing: making steel. That's it.

Shafting retirees is the latest rage among Rethuglican MBA's (Management by Assholery)
I hope Mrs. C wins just to watch the NYT roll around and scream like pigs on the way to the butcher when she refuses to give them access.
No love for diamonds? They are a girl's best friend.

Also the move of someone who thinks they're too powerful to ever get caught or suffer the consequences of their actions.
More correctly "murderous asshole."
The cleanest coal stays in the ground.
