I didn’t realize they were so big! I don’t live in porky-pin territory. I do, according to some weird Appalachian show on my teevee yesterday, live near “Woodbooger” territory. It’s VA’s version of Bigfoot. I swear the narrator tried to say “woodbooger” as many times as he could.

Martini Glambassador's avatar

I have never heard of a Woodbooger, and now I must go in search of new knowledge!

Good Morning Wonks! I have been asked by several Wonks who'd like to be here over the Labor Day weekend, but money is tight. If there are other Wonks that would like to share a rental - Vrbo, Airbnb, a hotel room etc. If you like the idea of sharing, please let me know and I'll pass the information along.

Good morning. So, let me get this right, If a repuke RAPES someone its perfectly fine but a Democrat has consensual sex and is single, they have to go away? Also, the Pantone color of the year is dirty white? There is so much about this timeline that I don't understand.

Re Late-Stage Trumpism: there was an article mentioned here a while back, which included a quote from a disillusioned Trump voter. Said voter was complaining that Trump hadn't fulfilled any of his promises. Well, Donald Trump has been leading people on and breaking promises his whole adult life (probably did it as a kid, too). In addition to all his other defects of character. He has always been that person. I'm glad some seem to be waking up, but it's way late to be doing that.

Rosy red ASS's avatar

Those voters have led us all on since 2016. I really do think they would vote for that motherfucker again were they give the chance.

Generalissimo Mitch McConnell is still ... Missing? Dead? Being detained by his scheming staff in a horrific act of passive elder abuse? Who can say. Anyway, at least the memes are a good laugh, as are these "Missing" posters that are popping up around DC:

https://share.google/LhfbKHaglY3xcanBC

Also, everyone hates him. His approval rating? 11 percent. I mean, usually at least 20 percent of people will say, "yeah, OK, I approve," just to seem nice. But only canned clam lovers like Mitch.
