Fuck the Denver Post. In 2014, their editorial board enthusiastically endorsed Gardner in the U.S. Senate race against Dem incumbent Mark Udall. Gardner won the race by a margin of less than 2%, so the Post is a big reason, if not the principal reason, that Senator Gardner exists. Exactly 100% of the statements in the 2014 Post editorial have proven false, and since 2016 Gardner's sole mission has been finding out how far he can shove his tongue up Twitler's shitter.
In this latest missive, the board tells us it's "far too early to reflect on the performance of Trump’s administration during" the COVID-19 pandemic. I'd tell the board to go fuck their mothers, but what's the point? That would be like telling Orange Foolius to go get stupid.
The likely Dem nominee for Gardner's U.S. Senate seat is former governor and Denver mayor John Hickenlooper. On one hand, Hickenlooper has a track record of success, including wins in two statewide elections. On the other hand, during his clown show of a POTUS campaign, Hick got himself videoed while saying he's not cut out to be a Senator and would be bad at it. This race is not the Dem mortal lock many people seem to think it will be. I can't wait to see how the Post manages to contribute to the fuckery this time around.

I hate to admit it, but that's kind of true. When you hear that 60,000 people are going to die, you're like "wow, that's a lot." Then you see their faces and it suddenly hits home that these were 60,000 people who all had a family, and a story, and a life.
