The Christian flag was designed by their fellow travelers; the No-Fun Fundemental cases. It supports States Rights including uncivil rights and gay bashing. Not to mention more traditional things like Jew-baiting and Catholic rail-riding.

Speaking of which, I read my very favorite description of the Confederacy today, a quote from the British Consul in Charleston during the Recent Unpleasantness. He called it a "dirty little abortion of an imperium." This may not be the best heritage to cling to indefinitely – and I say that as the descendant of eight great great grandfathers who signed up to fight for the fabulous state of South Carolina. (One of them died before he could fight, though, and another one stayed home to "take care of the ladies.")
