er, depleted uranium. The leftovers from processing fuel/bomb material from the ore. Isotope U238 mostly. Also used in some armor-piercing ammo.

yea, like if you do survive the gunshot, enjoy the cancer. i'm all about the 2nd amendment, but these are just insane. the military just used them as a way to get rid of nuclear waste on enemy battlefields. vets are still fucked up from close contact with destroyed vehicles during the first gulf war. insanity i tell you, insanity.

Yes, it would be much, much better, but I'm OK with taking what we can get. And with Republicans in charge of both houses, all we can get is war stuff, and SOME of them are even against that, because government = evil.
