As for getting the courts involved, that just logical. The courts have powers that Congress does not have and vice versa. Having both going after Trump is a good thing.

I worry about that too. I just don't think that we stand a chance of even a Pyrrhic victory if we jump to impeachment now. If we can't count on the Senate to do their job -- which is all but guaranteed with McConnell in charge -- then we need the public overwhelmingly on board for impeachment, so that at least Republicans will suffer some actual blowback for acquitting Trump.
To be sure our side is sold on impeachment, and also to be sure there is a chunk of Republicans who will never be sold. But then there are the people in the middle who maybe don't pay much attention to politics, or who are still swayed by voices telling them that it's just partisan attacks, or who simply haven't noticed what a bastard Trump is because he's not affecting them in any direct way. They need to see that Trump is a traitor. Kind of like how, for a brief period during the Kavanaugh hearings, a lot of white women were honestly shocked to discover how anti-women the Republicans really are. Once in a while, when people get a good look at the Republicans, they still know enough to be outraged.
