Someone should ask her to disclose what search terms she used to come with that as the first hit. Because that will really tell us "how she thinks". I bet $10,000 she refuses.

BTW, bitch, Obama still looks good, no matter what bullshit image you Photoshop him into.

No question the country would be a better place without these hate-radio blowhards, but prosecuting or banning the likes of Limpballs would just turn him into a martyr for the cause. He's thoroughly disgusting, but letting him be disgusting out in the open is the better course of action.

I think your latter conclusion nails it with these twits: they're so immersed in white supremacist culture that they don't even see it. Posting this sort of shit comes as naturally as breathing, so it's sort of true that she "doesn't think" this way. She didn't think "oh, this is a nice, racist image, perfect for my racist objective." It was a pure "ha, ha, this is funny!" moment, like that Federal judge forwarding an email that he found funny. There's a complete lack of self-awareness regarding the inner moral failure that allows it to seem tunny to them.

These people can tell polack jokes without disliking (or even knowing) anyone of Polish descent, and to some extent the nigger jokes come just as naturally to them.

When I was a kid in the lower grades, polack jokes were our stock-in-trade. As time went on, we wised up, and transistioned to dumb blonde jokes. (There's something about "Did you hear about the dumb ____" jokes that requires a minimal level of political incorrectness. "Did you hear about the dumb Martian..." delivers the gag, but fails to be funny.)

The reason these goobers, even as adults, have a 7th-grade bathroom sense of humor is that they never advance beyond a grade-school level of social awareness. Growing up with adults like this as teachers, preachers, and parents, any kid who does show signs of racial sensitivity or tolerance is going to get picked on, not encouraged.

As adults, they really and truly don't get it, and hammering home the message to an adult is very difficult. You have to get to them at an early age, but the notion of educating kids to be tolerant generates especially vicious politics. Immigrants may want their kids to move on to a better life, but goobers want their kids to be goobers as well.

Well, yes, but the excuse is so childish ... oh heck, it is probably the only thing she could think of when the picture was traced back to her.

When the John Locke Foundation shows "Roots!" do they play it backwards so it has a happy ending?

She doesn't "see race" - but it sure looks like her GayDar is fired up and workin' overtime.

I looked at that John Locke Foundation website. Another charitable entity, no doubt.

What in the world is a "Meck Deck?"

More like a "Dreck Deck."

These people are taken seriously.

Tara Servatius says she “didn’t think about the racial implications of the picture when I posted it. I simply don’t think in those terms.”

She is in the south and is unaware of "those terms"? Has she been living alone in a cabin in the woods, with no communications to the outside world since she was a child? Whether or not she thinks in those terms or not, is her argument that she is either so obtuse or so ignorant she doesn't even know this other world exists? Or, maybe, the people she most often talks to are so into "these terms" she forgets that others find them distasteful. Even (gasp) racist. Hard to believe, since the only racists she has ever heard of are blahs.
