Stupid Republicans. The Constitution is Holy Writ. You can't add a book to the bible. You have to interpret it in a distorted, self-serving fashion and have partisan hack Supreme Court justices to back you up. Duh.
I'm fully aware of the gradual formation of the accepted canon(s). But there has not been a new book added to the bible since at least the Eisenhower administration.
