Oh god, that poor child. I'm weirdly relieved, though, because the last time I saw any reporting on this story, it wasn't certain that he would survive at all. And his eyesight seems to have been saved too.

Snarkwise, let's see: can we all agree that if the price of making a few more meth arrests is occasionally maiming babies in their own beds, well, that's the price of freedom, right?

I am so sick of the fuckpig police and corrupt legal system that protects them. I'm not saying they are all bad apples, but my faith in the system is severely eroded. I hope President Hillary, President Michelle and President Elizabeth take on the system during their terms and put some effort into righting the very wobbly ship.

This is why America is FUBAR- millions of idjits who are so busy soiling their pants at every imaginary fear that the likes of Faux News has mainlined into their heads that they will tolerate any and every bit of BS from cops and other authorities to assuage those irrational fears. There no longer is a "too far" when it comes to authoritarian overreach, because otherwise the <strike> terrists Muslins gheys libruls Messicans ISIS blah thugs atheists bureaucrats drug addicts feminazis Ebola!! </strike> scary monsters hiding under their beds will surely get them...

I'm sure it would have been different if that grenade had burned a fetus...

Also used to be required that judges actually put some thought into credibility of information before signing off on a warrant. Now it's just rubber-stamp and go.

Jesus! This story is terrible. Nowhere in all the reporting did anyone find out if the stun grenade kept the toddler from going for his guns.

An armed society is a <strike>polite society</strike> place where babies periodically get their noses burned off because the police feel the need to militarize to the point of deploying grenades, because guns are ASSUMED TO BE EVERYWHERE.

If the poor kid had only been a zygote, then there would've been hell to pay.

DA can't do anything that might make police less reluctant to testify, or suddenly develop an obsession with paperwork technicalities before handing cases off for prosecution. After all, they have an election to win!
