I have cancer. Just skin cancer and the mildest, basal cell and only one lesion but it's on my neck. The doctors told me the neck is "the nerve highway to the brain". ...and I am being treated by MD Anderson. So, no dying but so fucking much pain even the opioids barely help.
Just wanted to share with some of my fave people. I am sad and I feel guilty for crying all the time about it because it is curable.
Lee, there was a point during the progress of my disease when I didn’t think I would make it to 2021. I never had pain like you have but I did have the promise of future pain, in my bones. Then I was treated (three times) and, for the moment, my cancer is undetectable. Trust the treatment. Trust it and understand it. Fuck cancer. Peter
Get all of the general anesthesia. Not only are you not awake, but if you do wake up you are in a disassociative state and even terrible things don't stick as bad memories!

Thanks. I've had wisdom teeth extracted with just sedation and local anesthetic. General anesthesia seems more dangerous, and a little overboard. I don't have any phobias about dental work, but I'm dreading the recovery.
Sedation IS general. If you are unconscious, it's general.
And I had 3 wisdom teeth plus a broken molar removed, one wisdom tooth was fully impacted at 90 degrees. I woke up as they were breaking it in half to get it out.
I was very surprised, my recovery was just fine (even with bone graft then implant for that molar). Only took painkillers for a couple of days.Hardest thing was the liquid diet.
There's certainly a right wing redemption industry that specialises in laundering these creeps, keeping them under dustsheets until the rubes forget their last fuckups.
